Today our group is all getting together and doing our voice overs.
We're doing this too late and i think we should have been well finished by now.
We have made some changes in our book, it is also going to be in printed stores and can be bought at QBD and Angus and Robertson.
Besides our voice overs, everyone has finished their speech and the electronic animation is finished. Our power point is very effective and gets the message across quite well. We have used bright colours with lots of pictures so it gets the customers attention. We are all happy with our power point and think it's very effective. We have also discussed our speeches with each other think its very persuasive.

Monday, 2nd of June
Today i am at home sick so i'm emailing my group to discuss what we are going to finish. It is really difficult because we can't discuss things face to face. We still have to finish our electronic book and i'll finish that today. Then next class we'll make any changes. We have also done a rough speech outline. The speech outline just contains the points we'll talk about and some important sentences. Lisa told me we'll be presenting at the end of this week so this will give us some time to practice. It has been hard finishing our powerpoint because we have had members away sick. Hopefully we will have it finished in time for when we present. :D

Tuesday, 27th May
Today Yoanna was away so Lisa and i had a lot of work to do.
Also one of our illustrations was deleted so we had to draw the image again. We also began to discuss our speech outline and what topics we are going to talk about. We decided we will have four topics:
1. Charity- Our chosen charity, what they do, why we chose this charity
2. Target audience- Why the product would be useful as it explains
3. The 4p’s- Product, Promotion, Price, Place
4. Statement- why you should buy the product
5. Story Book- Show and read the book
Lisa and i really like this idea and believe it will be a persuasive speech showing our final product. We also discussed what we are going to do for homework. We decided that one of us will finish one half of the powerpoint and the other person will finish the other half. I would really like it if we finished the illustrations by tomorrow and then in the next lesson we create the animations for the powerpoint.

Friday, 23rd of May
Today we are making the illustrations for our electronic powerpoint.
So far we have made a starfish, angler fish and turtle using paint shop. We are also trying to find animated items such as seaweed, coral and fish.
Our progress so far is excellent! We have started our electronic powerpoint and should be done soon. Next lesson we are going to start what to say and do for our presentation.
My group is working really well! At the beginning of each lesson we get together and discuss what we have to do and then we each go on a computer and get to work. We all discuss any problems and any new ideas anyone has. Our group hasn't had any problems while working on this assignment.

Monday, 19th May
Today our group made the story line for our book. The book is called:
Make a wish star fish
There once was a starfish living in the sea.
“I am very lonely and sad.” said she.
One day she asked a turtle floating by
“Can you be my friend?” but he denied.
She was sad so she cried and cried
Then an angler fish came to her side.
“What is wrong, my dear?”
“I have no friends” and she shed a tear.
“Oh don’t be sad. Hmm I’ll I grant u a wish!”
“Would you really do that?” cried the starfish.
“Of course I would! What do you wish for?”
“I wish that I wasn’t lonely anymore.”
So the angler fish spun his light
And he revealed a brilliant sight.
Then another starfish suddenly appeared.
And the angler fish then disappeared.
The starfishes were very happy as they were now friends.
They played all day and night until the heart contends.
In the end, the starfish wasn’t lonely anymore,
She was happy as she had a friend to adore.

Over the last week we have been researching different charitites to do for our foundation. On Monday we chose Make a Wish foundation. Make a Wish brings magic and joy to children with a life-threatening illness by granting a cherished wish.
For this foundation we chose to make a picture book for young kids. The book is about a angle fish that grants a wish to a star fish.
My group members all love this idea as the angle fish represents a fairy godmother. Then the star fish represents a young child who makes a wish. My group members have been working very well, no problems have occured while doing this assignment. We now are drawing the animals in our story and writing the actual story.
I think that our picture book will turn out very well :D
